For outdoor enthusiasts who love to run or walk and be within nature, Fig Tree Farm features beautiful trails that can be explored on foot or by bike. The winding paths meander through the farm’s stunning landscape, providing visitors with a chance to immerse themselves in the tranquillity of nature. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful walk a scenic ride, or trail running these trails offer the perfect opportunity to experience Hillcrest’s natural beauty at its finest.

About our Routes

The trails are 10,5 km’s and we have 3 different sections for the trails. Blue, Green and Orange.

Blue is 2,2 km
Green is 2,8 km
Orange is 5,6 km

The trail starts with a blue section, which is the field section, and then moves on to green and orange. To reach the orange section, you will need to navigate through the green path. Along the way, you will encounter orange arrows in the middle of the green route. Finally, as you enter the loop, it will lead you back to the starting point.

Costs:

Runners/ Walkers: R30 (Adults), R20 (Children under 12 years).
Riders: R50 (Adults), R30 (Children under 12 years).

For those who want to take their goals to the next level, we also host the Fig Tree parkrun every Saturday morning at 8 am, which takes place on the blue and green trail. You can register for parkrun on the link above.
